Cannon Street Closure Cannon Street in
Manchester closed as from Sunday 31st August 2003, with the final day of operation being Saturday 30th August 2002.Photographs from the final day can be found in this section by selecting

Bus Service Changes All bus services previously departing from Cannon Street will now depart from other Manchester City Centre bus stops.
Services previously using Cannon Street now use other City Centre stops including:
- Exchange Bus Station
- Stops on Corporation Street
- Stops at Stevenson Square
- Stops near Victoria Station
