Good Home wanted for LUT 'Jumbo'

The Lancastrian Transport Trust are looking for a good home for  ex-Lancashire United 'Jumbo' Daimler Fleetline No.394.

394 was saved by the Trust in 1996 from a  scrapyard but without engine and gearbox. Subsequently a  donor Fleetline was purchased to supply running units for  the restoration of the bus. Many other priorities and a  focus on vehicles appropriate to the Fylde coast has  resulted in the Trust's decision to find new owners for  the continued preservation and ultimate restoration of  the bus. Hopefully, one day the Jumbo will be operational  once more. Anyone interested in taking on the  challenge?

Expressions of interest in the bus should be  directed to Philip Higgs by email at philip@ltt.org.uk or telephone 07880 507636. The bus is  currently stored at the Trust's Blackpool premises and  can be viewed by appointment.
